IN LIFITING OTHERS WE RISE!
We’re deconstructing the ISOLATED individual and bringing back the lost art of SHOWING UP for one another. Research says the fastest route to HAPPINESS is helping someone- this event is where we get to FINALLY do that.
To practice the JOY of generosity and petition can be a real teacher for bonding in community. A master list of needs and offerings will be generated but mainly this is for you to see the face of a community member and learn to CONNECT.
**Everyone should please bring a dish to share - it doesn’t need to be Michelin Star!
Apart from eating and chatting we will share ideas on what support and resilience means to us and stories of when we have either helped or been helped that were critical in our lives. A short meditation to finish things off too.

Everyone is struggling to understand one another no matter what type of relationship (work, friend, romantic) and no matter what their gender is. We believe that to come together and swap ideas is a faster route to ground breaking epiphanies compared to gender isolated meet-ups.
This event is a place for myth-busting, lock breaking, secrets of the universe to become common knowledge. Afterall none of us are right or wrong, we simply lack true understanding of the other. Once we “get” it we can’t truly work with one another and more easily maintain homeostasis.
There will be a topic to get us started but things will flow organically. Tea will be served too!

Bring several items of clothing or fabric that COULD be your favorite…and TIGHTEN, CUT, DISECT, MERGE, EXTEND, EMBELISH them with something else to REINVENT and get weird. After all, Fashion is ART!
NO SKILLS NECESSARY - this is an experimental, learning, imperfectly perfect workshop. Instruction will be given as needed to each individual and bespoke project.
**Note: The vibe is more like a sewing party. We primarily sew by hand to make it accessible to everyone and focus on making your vision come to a reality.
Please BRING beads, necklaces or other random items if you wish to embellish your new creations with things you have lying around in your closet. It’s LIMITLESS! Let’s make ART - Come Join Us!
